At Youth Voices Action (YVA), we're not just about new ideas in youth development, but making those ideas count. 

Switching from Tauranga Youth Development Team (TYDT) to Youth Voices Action (YVA) was more than a name change. It was a deep dive into reimagining how we connect with today's youth, creating a secure environment for them to share thoughts, concerns, and collaborate with peers from varied backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

This shift is our way of ensuring that youth engagement isn't just a phrase but a meaningful, active process. Central to this journey is our youth advisory panel; they're not just part of the process - they drive it.
